One on One Sessions - $75/hour

If you’re in Los Angeles like, in-person Sessions are available. Otherwise Sessions are over the phone.

Sessions are terrific for...

Story Meetings

Often the very best way to break a story, or build and strengthen a script is to talk it through, making it better by actually telling the story.  I can work with you, and guide you through various levels of development, at any stage in the script-writing process.  We can also create beat sheets, cards, charts, and any other materials to prepare you to write.  With regular sessions a script can go from a seed of an idea to a fully beat-out story ready to write.

Writing Coaching

We can work on your process itself, to help create for you a life-long practice of excellent writing.  This can include ways to approach the work, developing useful tools, creating a system that works for you, and also address creative issues of writer's block, procrastination, goal-setting, accountability, making a productive work space, dealing with distractions and concerns, and establishing a successful and fulfilling writing practice.   Monthly Packages can be arranged for ongoing coaching with regular Sessions and additional email support.

Pitch Prep

Practice, practice, practice.  It's incredibly important to rehearse your pitch, both honing your content and your presentational style.  One of my favorite areas of expertise stemming from a background in acting as well as development,  I'll listen to your pitch, give you useful tips, and help you prepare your notes, visual materials, and style.  Hey, I'll even help you decide what to wear.  Rehearsing with a coach make for a much more effective pitch and a far less stressful experience for everyone...on both sides of the table.

A Couple of Notes...

I'm happy to do a FREE 15 minute phone call or brief email exchange prior to setting up a first session.

And...for any session, while it's not necessary, if there's already written material, sometimes it can be helpful to the writer for me to read it first.

Pre-Conference Read - $50

Development Notes

Outline Development  - $75

1-2 pages of notes on an outline, treatment, or portion of a script up to 25 pages of material. This looks at the strengths of the material, both in and of itself, and as a piece of potentially producible material.  This is extremely helpful both at the beginning of a project, and before a new draft.

 Script Development  - $150

3 pages covering all aspects of the screenplay.  Special attention will be paid to the elements that would benefit most from further development.  Excellent for any period of the screenwriting process.

Script Development + Page Notes - $200

5 pages covering all aspects of the screenplay, plus pages notes of your screenplay to address not only systematic elements, but individual and detailed notes.  Especially useful to get a clear idea of not only how the big ideas are working, but the specific ones, as well.

Extensive Script Development  - $300

8-10 pages includes covering all aspects of the material in extensive depth, plus line-by-line pages notes of your screenplay to address systematic and highly specific elements.  Particularly helpful when addressing a script that wants attention to every detail, especially when considering a second draft or major rewrite.
